Xyron 500 Sticker Machine Review

Since joining the planner community something has definitely happened to me… Yes, I’ve found loads of new friends…Yes, I’ve found a creative outlet that has saved me in ways I’d rather not think about….more importantly, I’ve become sticker obsessed!

I love stickers of all shapes and sizes. My planner pages are filled with stickers and I feel I’m on a  never ending journey to find a sticker for every task I have to complete.

I know there are worse problems, but my wallet believes this is serious. I’ve tried making my own with printable (though not owning a printer and depending on other sources limits the ability to use sticker paper), die cuts, paper scatters, and scrap book paper. I liked the look of these but I was using a glue stick to adhere them to my planner pages. Effective yet messy.

I was just roaming through a craft store when I spotted what my be the solution to my sticker problem. The Xyron 510 Sticker Machine. It was on a 40% off at a Joann’s that was closing, but it’s also available at most craft stores and amazon.

The Xyron 510 sticker machine can make a sticker up to 5 inches. It also has a choice of permanent or repositionable adhesive, laminate, or magnet cartridges. I personally will probably just use the repositionable adhesive.

Simply insert what ever you’d like to make a sticker in to the slot, turn the handle, and watch as your sticker emerges from the other side. Ta Da!

Overall, I’m pretty pleased with my purchase. The one downside I’ve found is it seems really easy to waste adhesive backing, but so far so good.

The Xyron sticker machines do come in some other size options. There’s a 250 (2.5 inch stickers), the 500 (5 inch), and the 900 (9 inch). Had I not found mine on sale when I did, I probably would have chosen the 250. Lucky for us Emmalee did get that one. Maybe she can tell us what she thinks about it?!

What about y’all? Any interesting things blowing your planning world?

By the way, the printable stickers used here are from Strange and Charmed.

Happy Planning, Y'all!
